Connect an AI assistant to PRMReviews

PRMReviews exposes its editorial review data as an MCP server. Once connected, your AI assistant can browse the covered PRM platforms, pull full editorial reviews, and compare platforms side by side — all without leaving your chat.

Connect your assistant

ChatGPT+
  1. Open ChatGPT connector settings and turn on Developer mode (note the risk notice shown there). If you don't see it, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the new plugin dialog.
  3. Paste the app name (PRMReviews) and the MCP URL above into the name and URL fields.
  4. Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom MCP server, not just this one), then click Create.
  5. Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.
Claude+
  1. Open Claude's add connector dialog — the name and URL are prefilled for you.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it PRMReviews, and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.
Claude Code+
  1. Run this one-line install command in a terminal:
    claude mcp add --scope user --transport http prmreviews 'https://prmreviews.com/mcp'
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm PRMReviews is connected.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.
Other MCP clients+
  1. Open your client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name the connection and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after the app changes

Your assistant caches the tool list when it connects. If we ship updates, refresh the connection to pick up the latest tools:

ChatGPT — refresh+
  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select this app.
  2. Scroll down to "Information" and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can't update an existing app's URL — if it changed, delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.
Claude — refresh+
  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. Claude can't update an existing connector's URL — if it changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Ask Claude to use the app.
Claude Code — refresh+
  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the app's latest tools on connect.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove prmreviews, then run the install command again with the latest quoted URL.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.
Other MCP clients — refresh+
  1. Open your client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection created for this app.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use the app.
